Ushbu maqolada stressning inson kognitiv jarayonlariga, jumladan diqqat, xotira, tafakkur, ishchi xotira va axborotni qayta ishlash faoliyatiga ta’siri tahlil qilingan. Stressning fiziologik va neyrobiologik mexanizmlari, xususan gipotalamus-gipofiz-buyrak usti bezi tizimi, kortizol va katexolaminlarning kognitiv faoliyatga ta’siri yoritilgan. Stress darajasi ortishi bilan kognitiv faoliyat samaradorligining pasayishi kuzatilishi ko‘rsatib berilgan. Shuningdek, stressning davomiyligi va intensivligi kognitiv jarayonlarga turlicha ta’sir ko‘rsatishi asoslangan. Tadqiqot natijalari stressni boshqarish kognitiv faoliyatni saqlash va yaxshilashda muhim ekanligini ko‘rsatadi.
