EXPERIENCES WITH STUDY-ABROAD PROGRAMS AND INTERNATIONAL STUDENT EXCHANGES

Participating in student exchange programs and studying overseas have grown in popularity worldwide.Abstract
Students who participate in international exchange programs and study abroad receive a transformative experience that goes beyond their academic achievements. This study examines cultural immersion of the students and how Soft Power alters academics`flexibility. To obtain the relevant data, an online survey was conducted among 16 students who are currently participating in the exchange program or have already completed it. In addition, one of the key findings was students being highly passionate about having local trips in their host country. The result above one more time showcases the vitality of Soft Power. Overall, Soft Power shapes student`s adaptability, tolerance, final and first expression during and after the program, and decision making process.
