Mazkur maqolada o‘zbek o‘quvchilarida ingliz tilida ravon gapirish ko‘nikmasini shakllantirish jarayonida yuzaga keladigan asosiy to‘siqlar va ularni bartaraf etishning samarali usullari tahlil qilinadi. Tadqiqotda til o‘rganishdagi psixologik (uyatchanlik, xatodan qo‘rqish), lingvistik (lug‘at boyligining yetishmasligi, grammatik xatolar), hamda metodik (an’anaviy o‘qitish usullarining ustunligi, amaliy mashg‘ulotlar yetishmasligi) omillar o‘rganilgan. Shuningdek, o‘quvchilarning nutq faoliyatini rivojlantirishda kommunikativ yondashuv, interaktiv metodlar, rol o‘yinlari, muhokama va debatlar kabi zamonaviy pedagogik texnologiyalarning ahamiyati asoslab berilgan. Maqolada ingliz tilida erkin va ravon gapirishni rivojlantirish uchun muhit yaratish, motivatsiyani oshirish, muntazam mashq qilish hamda texnologik vositalardan samarali foydalanish zarurligi ta’kidlanadi. Olingan natijalar shuni ko‘rsatadiki, kompleks yondashuv asosida tashkil etilgan ta’lim jarayoni o‘quvchilarning og‘zaki nutq kompetensiyasini sezilarli darajada oshirishga xizmat qiladi. Mazkur tadqiqot natijalari ingliz tilini o‘qitish metodikasini takomillashtirishda muhim ahamiyat kasb etadi.
